HireTak ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data when you use our platform at hiretak.com.

- Mobile number — used for account creation and OTP login
- Name, date of birth, gender — used to complete your profile
- Resume / work history — uploaded by workers to apply for jobs
- KYC documents — Aadhaar, PAN, or other government-issued IDs submitted for verification
- Job postings — details entered by employers when creating listings
- Payment information — processed securely via Razorpay; we do not store card details
Information collected automatically:
- Device type, browser, and IP address
- Pages visited and actions taken on the platform
- Location data (only when you grant permission, used to suggest nearby jobs)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To match workers with relevant job opportunities
- To send OTPs and important account notifications via SMS
- To process payments and issue invoices
- To verify identity through KYC documents
- To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse
- To improve our platform and user experience
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Sharing of Information
We share your data only in the following circumstances:
- Between workers and employers — when a worker applies to a job, their profile is visible to the relevant employer
- Service providers — e.g., Razorpay (payments), Firebase (OTP), cloud hosting providers — all bound by confidentiality agreements
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or government authority
- Business transfers — in case of a merger or acquisition, data may be transferred to the new entity
4. Data Security
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
- KYC documents and resumes are stored in access-controlled cloud storage
- Passwords are never stored — we use OTP-based authentication only
- Database access is restricted to authorised systems only
- We conduct regular security reviews
Despite best efforts, no system is 100% secure. In case of a data breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours as required by law.

You have the right to:

- Correct — update inaccurate information via your profile settings
